The third edition of the Rocking To India charity festival will take place on Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th this year: for the first time two days! While the Sunday is still all about rocking guitars and rattling stage boards, on Saturday the level meters will turn red when Zodiak Commune places a line-up full of Minimal, Acid, Techno and Tekno on the same stage boards. And unlike the Sunday, access to the Saturday edition from 13:00 to 01:00 is for free!

Rocking To India started two years ago as a charity event for the Kindia foundation (www.kindia.nl), a foundation dedicated to children in South India. This year the festival takes place again on the festival field behind the "Sonniushof" in Son en Breugel, a stone's throw of Eindhoven and easily accessible from the A50.

The Eindhoven organization Zodiak Commune is raging the region for 18 years and counting now, but also Amsterdam, Zwolle and Nijmegen have been struck ruthlessly by the Acid virus. Many seasoned Acidfreaks and Technoheads hold Zodiak Commune responsible for the second generation of Acid, Techno and Electro-parties with legendary events like Acid Rain, Liquid Foundation and of course the annual Queensday Festival in downtown Eindhoven. In recent years, Zodiak Commune was regularly to be found in regional pop venues such as 013 in Tilburg, the Den Bosch W2 and the Effenaar in Eindhoven, where the already tenth edition of Analog Dialogue takes place on the 25th of July. But also at parties like Oud Op Nieuw at the Keizersgracht and Tacnival in TAC, of which the already much discussed second edition takes place on the 16th of July, the real underground fanatic can lift his heart again and again. After a stage hosting at Mysteryland, Pinksterparty and STRP, Zodiak Commune hosts an area at Fuck You We’re From Eindhoven for the second time this year and makes their debut at Rocking to India with a strong line-up that brings up the best from the underground from the wide region. Along with a wide range of Minimal, Techno, Acid and Tekno heroes from Eindhoven, Tilburg, Den Bosch and Breda, they will establish a solid base for an old-fashioned festive edition of Rocking to India on Saturday the 9th of July.
